Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough eye examinations to assess vision and detect eye conditions. Diagnose and manage ocular diseases, including glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration. Prescribe and fit eyeglasses or contact lenses based on patients' visual needs. Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgery. Educate patients on eye health, visual hygiene, and preventive measures. Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment to evaluate eye health and vision conditions. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records. Collaborate with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals when necessary.
Requirements: Education: Bachelors degree in Optometry or equivalent qualification. Experience preferred, but new graduates may be considered. Strong clinical skills in eye examinations, diagnosis, and treatment. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
