Job Description

An international packaging group is seeking the expertise of an experienced person to join their team as a Key Account Manager for the Agri / food industries. The suitable candidate would have extensive contacts in the areas covering the West Coast, Cape Winelands and Overberg districts of the Western Cape including some national accounts. He/she will be well versed in selling a diversified portfolio of packaging to farmers, co-ops, food and animal feed producers as well as seed and fertilizer companies.Requirements

• Suitable formal qualification will be an advantage
• Knowledge of a wide range of packaging and its usage in the target industries.
• Extensive contacts of clients and prospects in the targeted geographical area.
• Strong selling ability: Prospecting, Screening, Presenting, Negotiating, Closing, After Sales.
• Passion for continuous learning.
• Ability to deal with technical issues in terms of packaging and packing line performance.
• Team player
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure

• Provide accurate sales forecasting.
• Assist in formalization of customer SLA's.
• Represent the company at trade shows and various marketing opportunities.
