To ensure efficient and accurate packaging material flow by supervising picking operations, maintaining precise records, and guaranteeing stock integrity within the warehouse
Key Functional Areas:
Supervise and lead the warehouse picking team.
Coordinate the daily shopfloor activities.
Conduct routine cycle counts.
Manage the warehouse environment in terms of housekeeping, safety, hygiene and security.
Ensure all shopfloor stock control procedures and processes are fully adhered to, to ensure inventory accuracy.
Monitor and evaluate daily employee performance to provide data support for performance assessments.
Ensure employees understand and comply with company policies, procedures and expectations. Conducts training when required.
Perform administrative duties as required.
Perform incident investigations.
Stand-in for the Warehouse Manager when required.
Required prior learning/ experience:
Grade 12 plus relevant tertiary qualification (National Diploma / Degree)
A minimum of 3-years' experience in a Warehouse Supervisor role, preferably in a food processing environment.
Excellent communication, leadership, organization, and customer service skills
Excellent administration skills
Proactive nature with good business sensibility
Strong multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced working environment
Experience using ERP / WMS Systems (e.g. Syspro)
Computer literacy - Office 365
Own transport

Ability work independently and take initiative
