Job SummaryPACKHOUSE MANAGER (Agriculture) - KimberleyLucrative package on offer!!!Our client, who is a leading player in the agricultural industry and packages fresh produce for the domestic and export markets, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Packhouse Manager to join their dynamic team of professionals.If you are passionate about the agricultural industry, possess strong business acumen, leadership skill and technical flair then this role is for you!You will be responsible for managing the overall day-to-day operations of the packhouse (+/- 450 staff).Key Duties & Responsibilities:Leading, developing and managing of the packing team and packhousePlanning and managing of all packaging activities to ensure well-equipped packing and storage facilitiesOptimal management of equipment and operational processesManaging finances for maximum profitability in product packagingEnsuring that the washing, grading, processing, packaging and processing of products is in accordance with Globalgap standardsQualifications and Skills:An appropriate degree in General and/or Logistics Management and/or related8-10 Years relevant Packhouse Management experience gained within the Agriculture / Horticulture / FMCG is requiredProven management track record in leading a medium to large size packhouse team is essentialWorking knowledge of Globalgap standardsFluency in English and AfrikaansWillingness to work shiftsTo apply for this role, please forward an updated and detailed copy of your CV to Jill Cicero:Elev8Recruiter
