Job Description

Hire Resolve is currently working with a leading agricultural company and is seeking a Packhouse Manager. As the Packhouse Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all operations within the packhouse to ensure efficient and high-quality packing and distribution of agricultural products. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented and experienced professional to join a dynamic team in the agricultural industry.Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operations within the packhouse, including receiving, sorting, packing, and shipping of agricultural products
• Develop and implement processes and procedures to maximize efficiency and productivity
• Ensure proper handling, storage, and maintenance of agricultural products to maintain quality
• Manage and coordinate packing schedules to meet customer and production requirements
• Monitor and analyze packhouse performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives
• Supervise and train packhouse staff, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to packhouse operations and inventory
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as production, quality control, and logistics, to optimize packhouse operations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in agriculture, horticulture, or a related field
• Proven experience in packhouse management or a similar role within the agriculture industry
• Strong knowledge of packhouse operations, including sorting, packing, and grading of agricultural products
• Experience in managing and leading a diverse team
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality products
• Ability to analyze data and implement process improvements
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in packhouse operations
