Job Description
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in Packing / operational environment in FMCG (Food Manufacturing)
- Minimum 2 years at management level
- Previous experience with Mills will be an advantage.
- Valid drivers license and own transport.
- Technical background will be an advantage.
- Computer Literacy (Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Administrative, Technical & Organizational Skills.
- Good Communicational and inter personnel skills.
- Deadline driven.
- Conducting meetings.
- Experience on Packing Machinery (Form Fill & Seal).
- Grading qualifications on (Sugar beans, Peanuts, Maize & Popcorn) will be an advantage.
- Ensure sufficient stock is planned for packing to meet model stock requirements.
- Optimise packing efficiency of all packers and ensure OEE benchmarks are achieved at all times.
- Value Drivers managed daily to achieve targets set out by the company by using the CIPs.
- Quality assurance on packing lines comply with requirements.
- Daily assessment and analyses of figures ensuring accurate results and performance managed.
- Compile daily, weekly and monthly reports as per requirements.
- Ensure Food Safety Management System (FSSC22000) is adhered to.
- Ensure compliance to all Human Safety requirements and legislation.
- Managing of employees in your department and executing all HR policies and Procedures.
