The purpose of the role is to take responsibility for social media accounts, and to manage both advertising and community engagement and coordination with the Marketing team to develop and implement the brand's social media strategy.Responsibilities:
As the Paid Media Specialist you will be primarily responsible for the following:- Strategy development
- Content management
- Community engagement
- Platform management
- Research
- Campaign design and reportingRequirements:Relevant Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field
At least five years' experience in a social media /paid media role
Proven successful campaigns in the higher education /youth market will be advantageous.Functional competencies:
Platform proficiency (Facebook Business Manager, X and LinkedIn), both paid and organic
Excellent understanding of campaign budgeting to optimise spend
Excellent written communication skills
Experience in managing online communities
Experience in maintaining brand voice and culture
Experience collaborating with copywriters, studio and paid media specialists
A discerning eye for branding aesthetics and meticulous attention to detail
Ability to find creative, unique solutions when needed
Campaign management skills
Power BI skills
