Paid Search Specialist – Safari Hospitality

Job Description


Our client is a leading safari operator dedicated to providing exceptional wildlife and wilderness experiences in South Africa and Tanzania.We are seeking a skilled Paid Search Specialist with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our paid search campaigns across Google and Meta channels. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of the company by driving targeted traffic and increasing conversions through strategic PPC initiatives.Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective paid search strategies to achieve business objectives, including increasing brand awareness, driving website traffic, and maximizing ROI.
  • Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and audience targeting to optimize campaign performance and identify new opportunities for expansion.
  • Create and manage paid search campaigns on multiple platforms including Google Ads, Bing Ads, Instagram, and Facebook.
  • Monitor campaign performance, analyze data, and provide actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • A/B test ad copy, landing pages, and other elements to optimize conversion rates and improve overall campaign effectiveness.
  • Manage budgets, bids, and ad spend allocation to ensure optimal performance and efficient use of resources.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and algorithm updates to maintain a competitive edge in the paid search landscape.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and development, to align paid search efforts with overall business goals and objectives.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree (or equivalent qualification) in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in paid search marketing, with a proven track record of managing successful PPC campaigns.
  • Proficiency in Google Ads, Bing Ads, and other paid search platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate campaign performance, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality assurance.
  • Experience in the travel and tourism industry is a plus, but not required.
