Pallet ClerkOperationsAccountable for own work within defined operating procedures, standards and work routines.Job PurposeTo provide administrative support to the Production & Finance Departments so as to ensure the smooth transfer and reporting of finished products supplied from Manufacturing to the Warehouse.Key Accountabilities and OutputsPallet AdministrationUpdate daily production & shift reports of finished goods leaving Manufacturing and being transferred to WarehouseEmailing & updating Excel reports to various sectors of operation timeously on daily basisPlacing traceability records stickers and recording information into registers for each pallet that leaves ManufacturingMatching production plan Job No's to Lines in productionUsing plan to identify correct batching analysisCompleting daily stock count with WHouse controller for transfer verification purposesWorking with Depot controller if investigation into discrepancies is requiredSupervising any reworked WIP when necessary and operation of manual pallet station for this purposeRecording of daily blowmoulding wastage or non conformance detailsMaintaining housekeeping in and around area in which you are workingAdherence to the health, safety, food and environmental standardsStaff shall adhere to all Food Safety Policies and PRP's and shall adhere to and enforce all food safety requirements at all timesStaff shall adhere to Health, Safety & Environmental Policies and PRP's and shall adhere to and enforce all Health and Safety requirements at all timesVisitor and Contractor Policy - staff shall ensure that visitors or contractors entering the facility are signed in, escorted and wear PPE, are aware of the hygiene policies and do not smoke, eat or drink inside the facilityCode of Practice - staff shall maintain high levels of personal hygiene in accordance with the code of conductHandwashing Procedure - Ensuring staff are cleaning and sanitizing hands efficiently before handling the product.Physical Contamination Control Policy and Procedure - Staff shall be aware of the potential of physical product contamination. Staff is aware of control measures to prevent physical contamination.Safety, Health and Environment Policy - Staff take reasonable measures to ensure health and safety hazards do not occur. Should an accident occur, staff shall be aware of the procedure of reporting the incident.First Aid Policy - Staff are aware of the first aider on site.
