We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Palliative Care Consultant and Specialist to join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission of providing comprehensive healthcare services.Position Overview:We are looking for a highly skilled Palliative Care Consultant and Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert palliative care services to patients with life-limiting illnesses, focusing on enhancing their quality of life and supporting their families through compassionate and holistic care.Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing patients with complex palliative care needs and developing individualised care plans.
  • Providing expert consultation and management of symptoms such as pain, nausea, and dyspnea.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and social workers, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
  • Offering emotional support and counseling to patients and their families, addressing their concerns and helping them cope with end-of-life issues.
  • Educating healthcare staff and community members on palliative care principles and practices.
  • Participating in research and quality improvement initiatives to advance palliative care services.
Qualifications:
  • Medical degree from a recognized institution.
  • Board certification or equivalent in Palliative Medicine.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience working as a Palliative Care.
  • Strong clinical skills in pain and symptom management, psychosocial care, and end-of-life care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Commitment to providing patient-centered care with empathy, compassion, and cultural sensitivity.
  • Fluency in English
