Job Description


Fixed Term Contract for a period of twelve months based in North WestAccommodation provided on siteKEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

  • Develop an annual business plan and budget in line with the reserve management plan
  • Develop an anti-poaching program in consultation with Resource security office and regional Manager
  • Develop and implement equipment and infrastructure maintenance plans
  • Develop an annual wildlife and monitoring plan
  • Management of subordinates
  • Liaison and neighbour relations
Requirements:xc2xb7 Grade 12 plus a 3-year Tertiary qualification in Nature Conservation / Environmental Sciences or relevant equivalent qualification.xc2xb7 At least 2-3 years experience in the Conservation and/or Eco-tourism environment at supervisory level within the Protected Area environment and within field related duties.xc2xb7 Sound knowledge of labour relations.xc2xb7 Knowledge of relevant environmental and financial legislative framework.xc2xb7 Fluent in Afrikaans and English due to client baseShould you not receive a response within 10 working days, please consider your application as unsuccessful
