Remuneration: Market RelatedPurpose Of The Job:Our client is looking for an experienced Tracker Fitment Technician to join their team. The technician will be responsible for installation and maintenance of Consumer products and solutions ensure adherence to quality standards and customer satisfaction.Duties:

  • Technical product installation, de-installation and maintenance product range
  • Ensure technical procedures and work instructions are adhered to all time
  • Ensure timeous arrival at scheduled work and client premise
  • Ensure all work is carried out in line with related procedures and fitment instructions
  • Ensure all field services are carried out in line with related, procedures and fitment instructions
  • Ensure highest level of client services is rendered
  • Ensure daily communication to Administrator and Manager on site progress
  • Ensures all administrative tasks required are performed accurately and promptly
  • Ensure your daily, monthly fitment targets are achieved in line with required organisation quality standards
  • Escalate issues timeously regarding delays, stock issues, vehicle related issues, etc
  • Perform any adhoc duties as and when necessary
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
  • Ensure diplomacy and technical dress code is adhered to all times during working hours
  • Secure and maintain at all times company assets
  • Ensure timeous and accurate weekly stock count replenishment according to minimum stock qualities
  • Ensure that every unit fitted is successfully tested
  • Detailed resolution for any maintenance (repairs) done. Record the issue and what was done to solve the issue. Send via e-mail to manager
  • Manage the daily calendar for work scheduled to you
  • Responsible for all administrative matters relating to duties
  • Comply with quality requirements
  • Report on all perceived device faults weekly and hand in the perceived faulty device
  • Manage personal goal setting, skills development and related technical training
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2-3 years experience in a role as a tracker fitment technician or similar in an automotive environment
  • Matric / further qualifications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines and standard accepted practices
Compulsory experience:
  • Tracker fitment
  • Auto electrical knowledge
  • Fitment of car radios and speakers
  • Any other fitment knowledge would be advantageous
