Job Description


Job Summary Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and create a diverse range of desserts, pastries, breads, and other baked goods.
  • Develop new recipes and innovative dessert presentations while maintaining classic favorites.
  • Coordinate and manage pastry production to meet the demands of the hotel's dining outlets.
  • Ensure all pastry items are prepared and presented according to established recipes and standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of the pastry kitchen and equipment.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen team members to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or Baker in a luxury hotel or fine dining establishment.
  • Extensive knowledge of pastry and baking techniques, including decoration and presentation.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Creativity and passion for developing new recipes and desserts.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus.
Requirements:
  • Passion for pastry arts and dedication to delivering exceptional desserts and baked goods.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety.
