The Pastry Chef will be required to assist in the Management of the Kitchen Team and ensure that standards are upheld in the Pastry Section at all times, whilst providing a full pastry service for the Kitchen.
Specific :
As a Pastry Chef, your role is to assist in the Management and operation of the food production and service within the Kitchen.
You will assist in marketing and promoting all food products to help maximize sales and will participate in developing and implementing food promotions, new menus, and systems around the Dessert/Pastry section.
You will assist in sales targets, controlling costs, and purchasing stock.
You will maintain systems of control, developing and updating standards.
You will develop and monitor staff in obtaining the highest standards of service and customer care and will assist in the responsibility for and monitor the training and development of all staff within the Kitchen, specifically the Pastry section.
You will ensure all administration procedures are accurately completed and will maintain a high standard of personal presentation and punctuality.
