Job Description


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in designing and executing the pastry menu, including desserts, pastries, and bread.
  • Supervise and mentor the pastry team, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
  • Oversee daily pastry operations, including production, plating, and presentation.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to integrate pastry items into the overall dining experience.
  • Maintain inventory and manage ordering of ingredients and supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with hygiene and sanitation regulations.
  • Innovate and introduce new pastry techniques and trends to enhance the menu.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role, with a minimum of 3 years in a high-end or 5-star establishment.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent certification in pastry arts preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, baking, and dessert presentation.
  • Exceptional organizational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Creative flair with attention to detail and a passion for culinary excellence.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
