Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll functions while maintaining compliance with all statutory regulations during their year-end period.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Oversee the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring precision and adherence to company and accounting practices.
Maintain and update payroll/employee records, process leave transactions, and manage employee data with the utmost confidentiality.
Address and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee queries in a timely and professional manner.
Utilise and maintain payroll software systems; collaborate with the HR and Finance teams to streamline processes and implement improvements.
Assist with internal and external audits.
Ad-hoc HR duties.
Skills:
Proficiency in Sage Pastel Payroll and the Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel).
Exceptional accuracy and strong organisational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain payroll-related information.
Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
