Job Description


The purpose of this position is to support the Payroll Manager in delivering a high quality pay-roll service providing timely and accurate pay to employees within Capita South Africa in accordance with agreed policies and procedures, contracts of employment and statutory legislation. Flexibility will be expected to cover for the operational hours of the BPO industryJob title: Payroll Administrator:Payroll AdministratorKey Responsibilities:

  • To verify the payroll documentation received and to process payroll data including but not limited to, benefits, salary changes, shift allowance, overtime etc. accurately within specified deadlines.
  • Maintain and assist with payroll related interfaces including but not limited to, Workday and AIDA.
  • Printing of reports and supporting documentation for pre-checks.
  • To prepare the payroll, within agreed timeframes, for submission to Finance.
  • Ensure all relevant payroll information is kept updated for all personnel and payroll input files.
  • Be available to employees for work related queries as a second line after line managers or at line manager specific request.
  • Research, analyse and solve payroll related queries.
  • To work with line managers to support internal processes and ensure queries are resolved within 48 hours.
  • Maintain professional relationships with management team and line managers.
  • Assist embedding of payroll policies and procedures to line managers.
  • Maintain the office environment in an orderly fashion and champion the process that need to be followed for payroll.
  • Adhere to payroll standards and conform to legislative requirements.
  • Provide any other Payroll support to the Payroll Manager to ensure smooth delivery of deliverables to the business.

  • Matric (completed)
Experience:
  • 2 years working experience in a Payroll or HR Environment
  • Computer Literate (MS Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)
  • SAP Payroll system experience (required)
