Payroll AdministratorArea: Roodepoort, GautengPackage: Basic salary R32500, plus Medical Aid, Provident Fund, 13th chequePurpose of the position: You will be responsible for a number of business units including all associated activities to deliver a value-adding, cost-effective and customer-focused payroll service to the business and foster a culture of continuous improvement.Duties:

  • Monthly group payroll administration 400 employees
  • Processing of weekly and bi-weekly wages for 200 employees
  • Generating monthly reports
  • Maintaining of People System, setup of GLs and mapping
  • Investigating discrepancies in payroll
  • Provident Fund administration and reconciliation
  • Bargaining Council Administration -NBCFRLI; BCMT and BCRCAT
  • Department of Labour mid-year and year-end audits
  • Annual submission of Return of Earnings to workmans Compensation, registration of new companies, de-registration of old companies
  • Submission of IODs to Workmans Compensation and RMAs and the administration related to the claim
Skills, Qualifications and Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience
  • Matric
  • Accurate
  • Able to work independently
  • Sage 300 People
  • MS Office suite
  • Experience with Bargaining Councils
  • Credit and criminal clear
  • Fluent in English and Afrikaans
