Kick-start your career in the online gaming world and experience the very latest in technology and innovation.The Department:The Payroll Department is responsible for managing the financial aspects of employee compensation, maintaining accurate records for remuneration, benefits, taxes and financial reporting of cost to company. Ensuring Employees are paid accurately and on time. Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and providing support to employees regarding payroll matters.Purpose of the Role:The Payroll Analyst reports into the payroll manager and will be responsible for all the financial aspects of payroll, such as reconciling payroll accounts. Preparing payroll-related financial analysis, general payroll accounting functions, payroll financial reporting and cost allocation to clients. This role is crucial in managing the financial and accounting aspects of payroll, ensuring accuracy, compliance and contributing to the financial decision making in the company.Strong analytical skills, proficiency in using advanced data analysis tools and techniques, and ability to present comprehensive reports to stakeholders. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and automation. Demonstrate advanced proficiency in payroll software, including configuration, troubleshooting, and generating detailed reports.Duties include, but not limited to:Financial Accounting & Reconciliation:

  • Take ownership of implementing and maintaining accurate brand, region and product calculations and allocation of cost to company, to ensure accurate billing to clients
  • Review and ensure payroll journals are accurately recorded with the correct brand, region and product splits
  • Reconcile all payroll accounts, ensuring all payroll transactions are accurately recorded posted on General Ledger
  • Reconcile RSU accounts, ensuring all transactions are accounted for and all Vested Shared are processed through payroll
  • Review all Payroll Control accounts as prepared by Payroll Admin for audit file purposes
  • Ensure Intercompany recharges are prepared and posted correctly
  • Review payroll related accruals (leave+ bonus) prior to posting in Navision/Business Central
Financial Reporting:
  • Generate payroll-related financial reports, analyzing payroll data and providing insights into cost of employments expenses per client
  • Prepare Headcount Reconciliation for month-end posting ensuring accurate allocation of head count to various Brand, Region, Product ,Cost Centre
  • Prepare Shared Services Schedule for Costing Splits as per Finance requirements
  • Collaborate with Finance Director and Snr Finance Manager to ensure accurate billing
  • Collaborate with HRIS for Workday Costing dimensions and Work Time allocation process
Budgeting and Cost Control:
  • Assist Finance Director with Workforce planning, costing and forecasting
Accounting Support:
  • Collaborating with accounting team to integrate payroll data into ERP
  • Assisting in financial audits
  • Collaborating with reporting team on GL Accounts requirements for Cost of Employment
Regulatory Compliance:
  • Ensure all statutory Payroll processes are up to date SARS,HMRC, Foreign Countries Revenue Services etc
  • Ensure COIDA ROE is prepared and submitted and paid accurately and on time
  • Ensure SOX compliance and IPE completed for all payrolls
Tax Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with payroll tax regulations in all relevant countries
  • Oversee all payroll tax filings and returns and staying updated on tax law changes
  • Ensure all Tax deadline are met to avoid penalties in all countries
  • Oversee RSU Tax withheld processing and reconciling control account
Payroll Processing:
  • Understanding and working in collaboration with Payroll Administrators and Payroll Manager with the handling of the end-to-end processes including data maintenance, calculations of earnings, deductions, costing allocations for Local and International Payrolls
  • Perform SOX Controls for relevant HtR RACMS -IPE completion
  • Ensure General Ledger Set-ups including Organizational structures and costing on Payroll system is updated and accurate
  • Understand the workings of Workday (HR) and ADP Payroll systems in relations to data maintenance and integration to ensure accurate cost allocation is posted to Business Central and TM1
Team Leadership:
  • Guide Payroll team regarding payroll accounting best practice
  • General support to Payroll Admin on all accounting system
  • Automation and process improvement on payroll systems and accounting systems regarding payroll journals
  • Pro-actively work with and support Payroll Manger with all new projects
Essential Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree Finance or Equivalent Accounting Qualification
  • Proven experience in Finance Accounting
  • Payroll Costing Exposure
  • Strong Values in Confidentiality
  • Strong Costing Allocation Background
  • Proficiency in MS Excel
  • Proficiency financial reporting and data analysis
  • Min 5 - 7 years accounting experience
