Join our MAHLE team!#StrongerTogetherMAHLE Behr South Africa, at our Durban Plant, has a vacancy for a Payroll Controller.Your Role & ResponsibilitiesThe main duties of this position will include:
- Payroll administration and processing
- Statutory submissions
- Payment Reconciliations to the General Ledger
- Payroll Calculations
- MIBCO online returns
- Matric with Maths
- Advanced MS Excel Experience
- Advanced knowledge of SARS recons and tax calculations
- Knowledge of General Ledger, journals and payroll recons
- Relevant payroll qualification, B.Comm (Business Admin, Accounting, Financial Management or similar) or similar qualification
- Payroll administration at least 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge and experience of SAP payroll software
- Maintain complete confidentiality.
- Deadline driven.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Systematic and organized in approach.
- High numeracy skills
- Understanding of laws relating to payroll administration
- Effective in dealing with staff at various levels in the organization.
- Good attendance record - Good Timekeeping
- To work independently without supervision
- Ability to work and communicate in a team - team player.
- Ability to prioritize workload.
