Payroll Manager

Job Description
Overseeing the payroll management for 3 entities with over a 100 staff. The successful individual would have a love for all things administrative and payroll.Responsibilities:
- Ensure on time and 100% accurate processing of payroll
- Maintain accurate and updated payroll information at all times
- Set up and implement processes and systems to ensure payroll is executed timeously and accurately
- Coordinate timely authorization of payroll
- Balance and reconcile the payroll accounts
- Ensure employee's all receive timely and accurate payslips
- Liaise with employee's on query resolution and escalations
- Maintain employee confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential
- Manage leavers, starters and movers on and off payroll
- Manage the timely and accurate calculation and payment of variable earnings (incl. Standby, Overtime, Commissions, Bonuses and other)
- Manage interfaces with finance to import payroll costs into accounting system and all reconciliations thereof
- Legislative Compliance
- Manage and maintain employee benefit schemes (including but not limited to: Group Life, Retirement) including starters, leavers, claims and staff movement
- Prepare weekly, monthly quarterly and annual payroll related reports
- HR Administration
- BEE Administration
- Matric essential
- Relevant qualification beneficial
- 5+ years of payroll administration experience essential
- Payroll systems experience (Sage, VIP, ESS or other similar systems) essential
