  • Calculate and distribute employee wages, including overtime, bonuses and deductions.
  • Keep accurate and up-to-date records of employee hours, salaries, and deductions.
  • Ensure payroll complies with legal and regulatory requirements. Administer employee benefits like health insurance, retirement plans, and leave accruals.
  • Address and resolve payroll discrepancies or issues raised by employees.
  • Generate payroll reports and summaries for internal use and compliance.
  • Update employee information, including status, personal details or pay rates.
  • Work with the HR department to ensure accurate payroll data and records.
  • Perform regular payroll audits to ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare and submit tax filings, including with holdings and social security contributions.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
  • Completed Matric.
  • Completed BCom in Accounting and related field.
  • 5+ yearsxe2x80x99 experience in a similar role in finance.
  • Sage 300 experience is an advantage.
