Payroll Specialist HR
Western Cape - South AfricaOur client, a well-known South African listed company, is looking for an Payroll Specicalist for their Cape Town depot who is a self-motivated, detail & process-oriented individual. The purpose of this role is to ensure effective administration of the full payroll process - conducting & monitoring accurate & timeous payments, audits, statutory requirements, & the accurate recording & storing of informationRequirements:

  • HR Degree or Diploma
  • Experience with Payroll and HR Administration
  • Knowledge of Payroll & HR related legislation
Key Performance Areas:
  • The full payroll function for multiple divisions
  • Manage the payroll process according to the payroll framework & relevant authorisations
  • Collate & verify information to be submitted for payroll processing
  • Understand & manage income tax, SARS requirements, & employee benefits
  • Responsible for Tax Year-End, IRP5 submissions, COIDA submissions, & payroll reconciliations
  • Responsible for reviewing & reporting on payroll results for accurate & timeous salary payments - weekly & monthly
  • Oversee maintenance, monitoring, & control of leave records & reports
  • Responsible for the Time & Attendance processes
  • Resolve payroll queries
