Forvis Mazars Cape Town is looking for a dynamic individual to join their Payroll External Team. The successful candidate will provide payroll administration management and consulting services to external clients and to ensure quality delivery of work outputs by team members

Duties and Responsibilities
Detailed and up to date blueprint is available for every payroll client.
Engagement letters for new and existing payroll clients
Setting up of new payrolls on Sage business cloud professional payroll also known as (SBCPP).
Setting up methods of calculation on SBCPP.
Information timeously obtained from client.
Information accurately captured on system.
Payroll reports checked to ensure accuracy.
Monthly payroll reconciliations performed, and relevant queries resolved.
Monthly ACB report provided to client timeously.
Administer salary payments on behalf of clients, where applicable
Print and forward payslips before salaries are paid.
Accurate Monthly management reports are provided timeously to clients.
Liaise with external intermediaries (SARS, Department of Labour, etc.) in order to accurately and timeously resolve any queries / issues.
Payroll queries accurately and timeously resolved
Oversee the statutory submission of manual clients (for clients that is not on VIP)
Accurately and timeously capture information.
Present all relevant year-end documentation (IRP's, etc.) to SARS
Send EMR01 Recons to clients with outstanding amounts and liaise with client to make payments.
Accurately and timeously resolve client queries.
Approval certificates send to clients
Train and develop junior staff.

Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 with a qualification in payroll/ remuneration tax e.g. National Diploma in Tax.
3-5 years of experience in an external payroll / remuneration administration environment.
Complex and multiple payrolls.
Guiding and supervising a team.
In depth knowledge of remuneration tax.
Knowledge of BCEA.
MS Office, a minimum of intermediate level proficiency (Excel & Word).
In-depth Knowledge of Sage Business Cloud Professional Payroll.
Excellent communication skills.
SARS Easyfile.
Knowledge of Sage Self Service.
