Bachelors degree / Diploma in Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field. (advantageous)
Requirements
Minimum of 4 years experience in payroll
Proficient in MS Office, extensive knowledge of Sage 300 Payroll and ESS is essential
Good knowledge of the full payroll function, including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes
Comprehensive understanding of Compensation and wage structures, benefits administration, worker compensation and employment laws
Duties
Review payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions, including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
Supervise the team to process payroll updates accurately and timeously, including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
Preparing monthly PAYE, bi-annual, and annual returns through Easyfile (EMP201 and EMP501).
Monthly Management Reporting - annual leave, leave and bonus provision, intercompany reports, etc.
Supervise staff in accordance with the performance management policy and maintains payroll staff job results by counselling and disciplining employees, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
