Overview My client, a 5* Safari Lodge in the Kruger National Park is urgently recruiting for a People Intern - Human Resources ( Recently Graduated) People Intern - Human Resources. The main purpose of the People Intern - Human Resources is to support the People Manager in implementing People strategy and the effective management of people related activities. Key Responsibilities The People Intern (HR) will assist in providing quality HR compliance and administrative support to the peoples team. The People Intern will gain practical exposure to the entire employment life cycle including but not limited to recruitment and selection; performance management; Labour Relations; compensation; benefits and reward; organisational design; employee wellness and succession planning. Duties and Responsibilities:
Compiling starter packs for new starters
Inputting employee records into the HR information System to include new starters and leavers.
Timeous submission of payroll related documents for processing.
Responding to staff inquiries regarding HR policies, employee benefits, and other HR -related matters.
Posting Job advertisements to Job Boards and social media platforms.
Screening potential employees resumes and application forms to identify suitable candidates to fill company job vacancies.
Organising interviews with shortlisted candidates.
Assist with personnel administration, employee information and employment applications.
Key Responsibilities
Office Management tasks: sorting employee files, payroll data and other HR intern duties.
Booking training courses for employees and administration and ensuring that invoices are paid timeously.
Assisting with all BBBEE related administration.
Assist with all HR generalist related duties.
Required Qualifications Skills and Experience
Grade 12 / Matric Certificate ( Essential)
Diploma / Degree in Human Resource Management (Essential)
Must be computer literate ie: Microsoft Word, Excel & Powerpoint
Self-motivated with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent organisational and administration skills and attention to detail.
High level of ownership and respect
Results driven.
Reliable, punctual; and conscientious
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
