We empower independent hotels with innovative technology solutions, driving their success and shaping the future of hospitality. We're looking for a People Operations Manager who loves multi-tasking, working across a spectrum of tasks (HR, Events, and Office Management) and organisation is your strong suit. You are meticulous and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on people-related matters. What will you be doing?This social butterfly needs to take care of a lot of things. But if we had to sum it up, the most important points are:Office management of our beautiful Cape Town office (360 panoramic views of the Mother city!).Organising and executing our Raccoon events. Think: Onboarding programme, annual celebration week, and special occasions around the office.If a Raccoon needs to travel, they are going to come to you. You will master booking flights and accommodation together with our finance team.You'll be the righthand (wo)man of our HR Director who operates out of Cape Town as well. Think of anything internal or external HR-admin related.Assist with ad-hoc office or HR projects. Our founders spend 50/50 of their time between the Netherlands and South Africa, so when they're in town, you'd be their go-to. Requirements?Higher qualification in Events advantageousProven experience in events or an office management / PA roleExperience in managing internal disciplinary procedures (a plus!)Skills/Attributes:People-person!Tech savvy with software (google sheets, documents, slides)Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise and multitaskGood attention to detail and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organisational and planning skills in a high-pressured and fast-paced environmentAn innovative approach and ability to suggest and implement improvementsThis is not your regular 8-5 job, some duties during busy periods require assistance after hours and over weekendsInnovative and a go-getter
