We're looking for a dynamic and creative individual to join our team as a People Specialist: Skills Development & Learnerships! As a People Specialist: Skills Development & Learnerships you will be responsible for but not limited to: Management of Learnership Implementation
  • Capture learner contracts and submit to Payroll
  • Support all training documentation such as registers and documents for the QMS file
  • Collate all learner results and capture the feedback on the SETA Credit Portal
  • Support ETQA Specialist on PoE control and storage
  • Remain current in terms of the South African SETA, ETQA landscapes, and relevant skills development regulation
Record Keeping and Reporting
  • Support all PoE movement on each learnership project
  • Arrange for the courier of all PoEs or related documentation safely and securely
  • Manage and maintain all learnership QMS files
  • Compile monthly reports on PoE submission, storage and leaner achievement
  • Ensure Project trackers are always up to date and current
Legislative Compliance
  • Ensure compliance to the SETA regulations, learner agreements and submission
  • Adhere to the Skills Development levies Act
  • Measure compliance with the SARS tax rebate
Project Management
  • Lead project teams in the creation and implementation of learnership projects
  • Manage bursary, learning programs and projects, from needs assessment through to implementation and measurement
  • Monitor and ensure project related milestones and targets are met
  • Obtain client feedback through the Client Feedback Questionnaire
Administration
  • Monitor administrative and logistical functions
  • Submit timely and accurate reports
  • Ensure learnership stats and monitoring tools are completed for SETA reporting
  • Document procedures and manuals with information and policies as required
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with all SETA officials and Business Units
  • Set clear expectations in terms of vendor and external contractor requirements
  • Manage all deliverables within the communicated timeframes
  • Build, maintain and utilise Smollan Talent solutions for the sourcing of learners


What are we looking for? To qualify for this role, you should have
  • Diploma or Degree/NQF level 6 or 7
  • 4-5 years experience providing administrative support within a Learning & Development environment and working with SETA
  • Experience overseeing Learnership and Bursary programmes advantageous
  • Understanding of Learnerships and SETA landscape
  • Attention to detail
  • Planning & organising skills
  • Project management skills
  • Communication skills (verbal & written)
