Job Description

JOB PURPOSE





As a Performance Analyst, you will responsible for analysing and optimizing the performance of various systems, applications, and processes within the company. You will be tasked with identifying areas of improvement, creating strategies to increase efficiency, and monitoring progress. In this role, you will work closely with other teams to ensure that all processes are running smoothly and that the company is meeting its performance goals. You need to apply your strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner, in a fast-paced environment.


RESPONSIBILITIES




Data and Analytics Strategy




Conduct performance analysis to identify areas of improvement in systems, processes and products Develop and implement performance metrics to track and evaluate performance indicators Credibility: Analyse performance data to identify trends, patterns and insights to inform decision-making Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and execute performance improvement initiatives

Monitoring Performance




Design and implement performance testing and monitoring processes to ensure systems and processes are performing optimally Provide recommendations to senior management on performance improvement strategies and initiatives

Data Analysis and Insights Generation dashboard and reporting




Conduct advanced data analysis, statistical modeling, and predictive analytics to derive actionable insights Develop and implement data-driven strategies to optimize business processes and performance Develop and maintain performance dashboards and reports to track progress and communicate results Monitoring, maintaining and improving of performance dashboards and reports Implementing performance metrics and key performance indicators and actions Identifying overlapping performance reporting and communication that currently exist, recommending to business best practice Present findings and recommendations to executive leadership and key stakeholders.

Cross-functional Collaboration and Stakeholder Management




Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and priorities Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback, refine requirements, and deliver impactful performance data Build strong relationships with business leaders and stakeholders to drive optimal use of data and performance results

Leadership




Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members Assisting and providing recommendations and findings to Senior leadership from cross-functional teams Set an example through personal quality and productivity standards and ways of working with others Demonstrate consistent application of internal procedures. Plan and priorities, demonstrating abilities to manage competing demands Demonstrate abilities to anticipate and manage change Demonstrate flexibility in balancing achievement of own objectives with abilities to understand and respond to organizational and team needs. EDUCATION




Matric Relevant qualification

EXPERIENCE




4 to 6 years' experience Understanding of performance testing methodologies Expertise in analyzing system and application performance Ability to identify performance bottlenecks Experience with load testing tools Knowledge of performance monitoring techniques Proficiency in creating performance test scripts Capability to report performance testing results Familiarity with database performance tuning principles Understanding of network protocols and topologies Awareness of application server configurations Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills * Ability to thrive in a dynamic and collaborative environment, with a passion for continuous learning and innovation
