We are looking for a Performance Insights Analyst to bridge the gap between our Growth Analytics team and the Marketing, Sales, Fulfilment and IT departments. In this role, you will serve as a key communicator and problem solver, ensuring that advanced analytics and data insights drive actionable business strategies. Your role will ensure seamless integration of analytical solutions into operational workflows, facilitating data-driven growth across the organization.
Our business is a complex combination of websites with clicks, landing pages, digital journeys, diallers, sales funnels, live API calls, internal and external consumer platforms. It takes over 30 dashboards to monitor the live performance of these actions and channels. We are looking for someone with a real understanding of numbers, trends, ratios, to constantly monitor our various dashboards and reports. The ideal candidate is someone with a knack to find things that look out of the ordinary. This could be the obvious, as is an API must be complete down, or finding slow negative trends that result in lower performance due to an error. The candidate must be a good communicator and work well with management to flag anything identified on the dashboards and reports. The candidate must be passionate to resolve the question and not just give up when the solution is not obvious. Escalations must be followed through until resolved.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with managers to identify trends within the operational areas and present them in a clear, actionable format.
Translate complex data analytics and insights into business-relevant recommendations that will drive conversions and overall growth.
Analyse, interpret, and consolidate data from multiple data visualisations to provide a holistic view of performance.
Analyze the full customer journey, from Marketing to Sales to Operations, to provide comprehensive insights into overall performance and identify opportunities for optimization at each stage of the funnel.
Deliver performance history and actionable insights to business leaders through weekly and monthly presentations.
Work on investigations and in-depth analysis for senior management to inform strategic direction.
Participate in ad-hoc projects, ensuring timely delivery and business alignment.
Desired Background
Practical experience in problem solving and delivering insights
1-3 years of experience in analytics
1-2 years of experience in SQL
Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools
Knowledge of various analytical tools
Ability to work with large datasets
Experience with data visualisation tools
Must be a confident and clear communicator, able to present complex insights effectively.
Strong analytical skills, with a focus on identifying breaks in dashboards and data flows.
Enjoys uncovering lost opportunities and areas of underperformance.
Skilled in recognizing productivity gaps and process inefficiencies.
