Job Description
Purpose of the Job
- Screening of Donor
- Phlebotomy procedure
- All Donor Host/Hostess duties Clinic Reception and Blood Collection
- Matriculation Certificate
- Certificate in Phlebotomy Techniques
- Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa
- 1 -2 years phlebotomy experience is essential
- Previous Blood Transfusion experience would be an added advantage
- Computer Literate
- The working hours are variable i.e. shift basis including weekends
- A code 8 drivers license without endorsements will be an added advantage
- Reliable transport
- Good interpersonal skills
- Have a friendly disposition and willingness to go the extra mile
- Accuracy in data collection
- Fully multilingual
- Must be able to work as part of a team
- Skilled in customer services and the ability to deal with the public
- Willingness to relocate to Paarl
