MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSMatric certificate or equivalentA relevant Trade TestMust be able to read ISO drawings and welding symbolsCompetent B certificateA valid Drivers LicenseMedically fit to work undergroundEXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLSAt least 5 years petrochemical experience in a role with similar responsibilitiesPrevious mining experience will be advantageousEffective communication skillLegal requirements as per Mine Health and safety act with regards to winding plantKnowledge of the Mine Health and SafetyROLES & RESPONSIBILITIESBe able to comprehend, interpret and apply welding proceduresProvide guidance and support for any technical issues related to the section or projectRead and understand drawings and symbolsFabricate, develop, and fit componentsAssemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipmentInspect, examine and test installed systems and pipeline using pressure gauges, hydrostatic testing, observation, and other methods.
