To oversee the cellular planning function via stock management and performance analysis, to optimise the balance between sales, stock levels and profitability
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with Buyers and business partners to develop and manage quarterly forecasts that maximise sales opportunities.
Monitor and analyse in-season trends to ensure the right stock is in the right place at the right time.
Manage replenishment forecasts and streamline allocation strategies for efficiency.
Overseeing product lifecycle management, including product launches, phase-outs and markdowns.
Allocating stock effectively to meet customer demand to maximise sales and drive efficiency.
Understanding customer needs through store visits and feedback analysis.
Support strategic projects and execute key initiatives that drive performance
Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies
Commercial degree or diploma
2-3 years of Merchandise Planning experience
Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets is essential
Strong numerical skills for data analysis and forecasting
Ability to analyse data and identify trends
Understanding of business principles and commercial awareness.
Ability to make sound commercial decisions and manage risk
A proactive approach to problem-solving and identifying solutions
Ability to think conceptually and understand complex systems
Knowledge of replenishment planning processes and systems
Competencies required: Performing under pressure, Listening skills, Service oriented, Initiative, Innovating
