Job Title: Planning and Procurement Manager
Location: Montague Gardens
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: R 90 000.00Hire Resolves client is seeking a Planning and Procurement Manager with both operational and strategic management experience.The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective strategies for sourcing, demand and supply planning, inventory management, S&OP, and customs, with a strong focus on enhancing organizational profitability.The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a multinational manufacturing environment and possess exceptional leadership skills.Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic sourcing and procurement plans to optimize costs and efficiency.
• Oversee demand and supply planning to ensure seamless operations and inventory availability.
• Manage inventory control processes to minimize waste and improve cost-effectiveness.
• Lead and facilitate Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes to align supply chain operations with business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with customs regulations and trade policies for import/export activities.
• Foster relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts to secure competitive terms.
• Analyze procurement and planning data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align procurement and planning strategies with company goals.
• Lead and develop a high-performing procurement and planning team.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in planning and procurement management within a multinational manufacturing environment.
• A degree or qualification in Procurement, Finance, or Supply Chain is essential.
• Strong expertise in strategic sourcing, demand and supply planning, inventory management, and S&OP.

• Knowledge of customs regulations and international trade compliance.
• Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to analyze data and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement software.
• Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in Procurement and Planning, with at least 6 years in a management role.
