Job Description
Exciting opportunity for a suitable candidate to join this well known Retailer in the fashion industry to assist a very busy but dynamic Planning Team. The position is based in Cape Town city centre. Ideal if you would like to grow and develop your skillset whilst working with a professional team.Requirements:
- Matric with relevant experience / qualification would be nice to have
- Minimum of 5 years working experience within a similar role
- Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
- Ability to pay attention to detail and be systems driven
- Ability to listen well in order to execute instructions
- Computer literate
- Ability to work in Cape Town CBD
- Update files, help maintain tech packs, cut sheets and other design related functions
- Communicating with fabric and packaging vendors and maintain fabric and packaging library
- Planning of production
- Communication with factory manager
- QC of stock
- Handling WIP and BOM''''s on the system
- Administrative and reporting competency
- Ordering trims and fabric
- Booking in stock into the system
- Handling of import orders and local orders
- Purchase Orders
- Invoicing of stock between companies
- Sampling packs
- Stock control
- Ad hoc duties
