Plant Electrician (fixed Term Contract 6 Months)
Job Description
Minimum Requirement:
Grade 12 with mathematics and science or equivelant
Section 13 red seal electrician trade test or equivelant
Additional Qualification:
N4 electrical trade theory, with subjects specific to Electrical Engineering
Wireman License added advantage.
Experience Requirements:
5 years experience in heavy industry EssentialDutiesMaintenance Process (Scheduled):Receive Maintenance Schedules, interpret instructions and plan maintenance and repair
workMaintenance Process (Breakdown):Attend to machine breakdowns of a mechanical/electrical nature for all equipment under
engineering functional control.Electrical Maintenance:Single/Three Phase Circuits.Design and Install Electrical Wire Ways.Install or replace and commission electrical equipmentMechanical and Fabrication: Basic mechanical
fault finding with regards to Pneumatics and Hydraulics and basic repairsInstrumentation Maintenance:Maintain instrumentation equipment (Flow; Level; Pressure; Temperature; Intrinsically safe apparatus)Construct Basic Electronic Circuits and Install Instrument impulse linesMaintenance Process (Post Maintenance):Test and commission machinery or equipment prior to handover
