Job Description
Our client in the automotive industry is looking for a Plant Engineer in the Eastern Cape, Port Elizabeth area.Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- Certifications: Government Certificate of Competency (Factories) (GCC)
- Electrical Previous GMR (2) Appointment and Responsibility
- Automotive industry experience is a top priority.
- Maintenance engineering experience covering all engineering disciplines (Electrical/Mechanical/Instrumentation)
- 6 years and above in plant engineering-related roles
- Equipment Maintenance and Reliability: Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs,
failures. * Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvement, analyse production processes, and implement best practices to enhance productivity and quality.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations,
- All GMR (2) responsibilities including root cause analyses and investigation of incidents.
- Ensure the achievement of the overall objectives of manufacturing services and maintenance.
- Project management including the commissioning of new equipment.
- Preparation and management of annual budgets
