Hire Resolve's client is currently seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Plant Engineer to join their mining team in the North-West province. As the Plant Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the plant equipment to ensure its optimal performance.Responsibilities:
- Manage the maintenance and repair activities of plant equipment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize plant performance and meet production targets.
- Implement and monitor maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety.
- Provide technical support and guidance to plant personnel.
- Monitor and control maintenance expenses within budgetary limits.
- Degree or National Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
- GCC Mines and Works qualification.
- 5 years' experience as a Plant Engineer in the mining industry (Post GCC).
- In-depth knowledge of plant equipment and maintenance practices.
- Valid Drivers' License
- Salary: R1.4mil-R1.8mil per annum.
