Job Description
Our client is looking for a Plant Maintenance Technician to join their companyMinimum Required Qualification
- Trade Test certificate: Millwright
- At least 18 months Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics Engineering qualification or PLC; SCADA &
- 5 years experience as a Millwright/Technician maintenance or project environment (preferably in the
- Tertiary qualification in Mechanical/Electrical/Mechatronics Engineering
- Wiremans license
- Experience using SAP-EAM (advantageous)
- Projects Environment experience (advantageous
- Computer literacy with working knowledge on Microsoft packages and SAP is essential
- Good verbal communication skills and basic report writing skills are essential
- Strong organizational skills and efficient time management skills are essential
- A sense of urgency (does things quickly and methodically), self-driven and resilient, work with
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems maintenance
- Ability to interpret PLC software and fault find in PLC software
- Ability to interpret SCADA and Batch Management software and use as a fault-finding tool
- Ability to diagnose, determine cause and effect, and repair equipment malfunctions
- An analytical approach to problem solving and ability to pay high attention to details as well as handle
