  • Develop strategies to be used for optimizing performance, production and plant/system efficiencies.
xc2xb7 Review design and engineering processes and report any design deficiencies.xc2xb7 Generate procedures and systems for optimal performance operation of the facility in a cost-effective manner.xc2xb7 Defining, developing, and fine-tuning control logic to optimize the overall performance of the plant.xc2xb7 To assure that the data used (Instruments, inputs meters, DCS etc.) are accurate and validxc2xb7 Investigate incidents and breakdown.xc2xb7 Generating the daily production forecast.xc2xb7 Ensure calculation methodology is implemented and closely monitored.xc2xb7 Report any design deficienciesxc2xb7 Daly analysis of trends and generate performance reports with recommendations.xc2xb7 To review the models, provide by the EPC and/or Client, identifying the critical points affecting to the daily performance.xc2xb7 Develop and conduct performance tests to assess equipment monitoring overall performance and recommend best operating.xc2xb7 Implement and verify predefined testing of fuel, water, and steam qualities. Report on findings and highlight deviations form standards and codes.xc2xb7 Measure and assess waste and process by-products for statutory compliances and safe disposals.xc2xb7 Conduct systematic performance analysis and initiate changes to improve plant performance to ensure that key energy consumption and production targets are met.xc2xb7 Ensure all process related incidents and breakdowns are thoroughly investigated, analysed and failures allocated to the relevant cost centres.QUALIFICATIONS:xc2xb7 B-Tech Degree/Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering.xc2xb7 Project Managementxc2xb7 GCC Factories is an advantageRELATED EXPERIENCE:xc2xb7 6 years experience as a Plant Performance Engineer in a power plant / utilities environment.SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:xc2xb7 Knowledge of DCM and CMMSxc2xb7 Knowledge and understanding of power plant operations and associated risks.xc2xb7 Knowledge and understanding of SHERQ management systems.xc2xb7 Knowledge and understanding on conducting risk assessments.xc2xb7 Good numeric reasoning ability.xc2xb7 Good attention to detail.xc2xb7 Organised, efficient and ability to multi-task.xc2xb7 Deadline driven and the ability to work under pressure.xc2xb7 Negotiation skills.xc2xb7 Project management principles.xc2xb7 Sound knowledge of human behaviour and occupational hygiene.xc2xb7 Communication and presentation skills.xc2xb7 Leadership skills.xc2xb7 Facilitation and presentation skills.xc2xb7 Procedure and report writing skills.xc2xb7 Computer literacy (e.g. MS Excel, MS word, MS PowerPoint etc.).xc2xb7 Auditing skills.xc2xb7 Team player, motivating, coaching and mentoring skills.xc2xb7 Excellent legislative knowledge and the ability to implement and manage SHERQ legislation.xc2xb7 Punctual and reactivity to emergency situations.xc2xb7 Proactive and anticipation of risk.BEHAVIOUR:xc2xb7 Integrityxc2xb7 Professionalismxc2xb7 Reliablexc2xb7 Safety orientedxc2xb7 Self-motivated
