Provide sales team with necessary technical expertise to enable them to sell complete pneumatic and Vacuum solutions
Reviewing products data to ensure that the sales force is kept up to date on new developments regarding companies or competitors products
Act as a point of first reference for all product related enquiries and work with colleagues to address any issues
Close liaison with the sales force to assess the response and suitability of current promotional material and to ensure that the printed promotional material is being used optimally
Perform regular market research to understand customer attitudes towards the current range of products and with the objective to introduce new products
Assist with the design of the annual marketing plan and for controlling advertising promotion and sales aids in accordance with annual marketing plan
Product forecasts and monitoring of inventory levels locally and globally
Liaise with marketing department to promote products and brands
Maintain relationships with suppliers
Negotiate pricing and acceptable lead times with suppliers and distributors
Prepare, review and distribute reports, feedback, analysis and other market data
Monitor all aspects of the design, development and production process
Coordinate and attend shows and open days
Develop and implement SETA / Accredited product specific training interventions
