Pool Cleaners/technicians
Job Description
Clean and maintain pools on luxury cruise ships, following established cleaning procedures and schedules- Test and balance pool chemicals to ensure safe and sanitary conditions- Vacuum and skim pool surfaces to remove debris- Brush and scrub pool walls and floors to remove algae and other buildup- Monitor and maintain pool equipment, such as pumps and filters, to ensure proper functioning- Report any maintenance or repair needs to supervisor in a timely manner- Provide exceptional customer service to passengers and crew members, addressing any concerns or questions regarding pool maintenance- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while working on cruise ships- Keep accurate records of pool maintenance and chemical levels- Assist with other duties and tasks as neededQualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent- Previous experience in pool cleaning and maintenance preferred- Knowledge of pool chemicals and equipment, and ability to troubleshoot and make minor repairs- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning procedures and schedules- Excellent customer service and communication skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Physically able to perform tasks such as lifting and carrying pool cleaning equipment, and working in various weather conditions- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
