Pool Repairman
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in performing repairs and maintenance on ships, including welding, painting, and general mechanical work
- Help to troubleshoot and diagnose issues with ship equipment and systems
- Assist in the installation and testing of new equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient completion of tasks
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- Basic knowledge of ship repair and maintenance techniques
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use various tools and equipment
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: R17475,00 - R22825,00 per month
Work Location: In person
