Our distinguished client, a premier Development Finance Institute (DFI), is seeking an exceptional Post Investment Associate to join their dynamic team. If you possess a wealth of deal-making experience and a knack for post-investment diligence and monitoring, this role is tailor-made for you! You will take the reins in conducting post-investment due diligence and meticulous monitoring of investments within your allocated portfolio. Your astute financial analysis and project management skills will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success and sustainability of our investments.Required Experience/Skills:

  • At least 5 years' deal-making/investment experience: Your seasoned expertise in deal-making will be crucial as you navigate the intricacies of post-investment management.
  • Strong Project Management and Corporate Finance/Venture Capital experience: Your robust background in project management and finance will empower you to excel in this role.
  • Completed Articles or Strong Audit Experience: Your auditing prowess will bring a meticulous attention to detail to your work.
  • Good Working Knowledge of Key Commercial Statutes and Regulations: Your familiarity with commercial laws and regulations will guide your decision-making.
  • Financial Modelling and Analysis: Proficiency in financial modeling and interpretation of statements will enable you to make informed investment decisions.
  • Portfolio Management Expertise: A proven track record of managing diverse investment portfolios post-investment is essential.
  • Industry Sector Diversity: Your experience across various industry sectors will provide a well-rounded perspective on investments.
  • Portfolio Risk Analysis: Your ability to assess and manage portfolio risks will contribute to our strategic decisions.
  • Advanced PC Skills: Mastery of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is essential for effective communication and reporting.
  • Strong Report Writing Skills: Your ability to convey complex information concisely will be vital in reporting on investment progress.
  • Understanding of Enterprise Valuation and Exit Methodologies: Your insight into valuation methodologies will guide exit strategies.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate degree - minimum B.Com. in Business and Finance or Accounting.
  • Honours degree - B.Com. in Finance, Accounting, or CTA.
