Postgressql Operations Specialist (senior)
Job Description
Essential Skills Requirements:
- Experience with PostgreSQL in both on-premises and cloud environments
- Strong understanding of PostgreSQL architecture, query optimization, and database administration
- Knowledge of database security and cloud technologies
- Proficiency in Linux, shell scripting, and Java Web-Applications
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsAdvantageous Skills Requirements:
- ITIL certification
- Experience with SPLUNK and database auditing
- Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCPQualifications/Experience Required:
- BA/BS Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum of 3 years in a Mid to Senior role, with over 6 years of total experienceResponsibilities:
- Design and implement database monitoring solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system analysis and testing
- Support operational excellence goals through strong operations knowledge
