Job SummaryJob Title: Power BI DeveloperLocation: Gauteng4 Months contract - Full time onsiteJob Summary:Power BI Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Power BI. The role involves working closely with stakeholders to understand their business needs and translate these into actionable insights. The ideal candidate must strong Power-BI Automation skills.Key Responsibilities:

• Report Development:

• Design, develop, and deploy Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Create data models to support the reporting needs of various business units.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all reports and dashboards.
• Data Integration:

• Connect to various data sources (SQL, Excel, Azure, etc.) and integrate data for reporting purposes.
• Implement and manage data refresh schedules.
• Collaboration:

• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and understand reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with IT and data teams to ensure data availability and quality.
• Provide training and support to end-users on Power BI tools and reports.
• Performance Optimization:

• Optimize Power BI solutions for performance, including query optimization and efficient data model design.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Power BI services and reports.
• Documentation:

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of reports, data models, and processes.
• Create user guides and training materials for business users.

Qualifications:

• Education:

• Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Experience:

• Experience in business intelligence and reporting, specifically using Power BI.
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Technical Skills:

• Power-Apps
• Data-Engineering / P-Automate
• Power-BI Automation
• (Power BI WriteBack)
• Proficiency in Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, and data modelling.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database management.
• Experience with Azure Data Services (e.g., Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory) is a plus.
• Familiarity with other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik) is advantageous.
