• Cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with clients, serving as the primary point of contact for all PR-related activities.
• Understand their goals, challenges, and industry landscape to provide tailored solutions and exceed expectations.

Strategic Planning

• Develop and implement strategic PR plans aligned with client objectives and overarching business goals.
• Identify key messaging, target audiences, and media opportunities to maximise brand visibility and reputation.

Media Relations

• Proactively engage with media outlets, journalists, and influencers to secure high-impact coverage across various channels.
• Pitch compelling stories, manage media inquiries, and coordinate press events to generate positive publicity.

Content Creation

• Create engaging content including press releases, articles, blog posts, and social media updates.
• Ensure consistency in messaging and brand voice while adapting content to suit different platforms and audiences.

Campaign Management

• Lead the execution of integrated PR campaigns, coordinating efforts across multiple channels such as traditional media, digital platforms, events, and partnerships.
• Monitor campaign performance, analyse metrics, and refine strategies for continuous improvement.

Crisis Communication

• Act swiftly and decisively in managing crises, providing strategic counsel, and maintaining transparency to mitigate reputational risks.
• Develop crisis communication plans and conduct media training for clients as needed.

Team Collaboration

• Collaborate closely with internal teams including creative, digital, and account management to deliver cohesive and impactful communication strategies.
• Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to junior team members to foster their professional growth.

RequirementsThe successful candidate must have/be:

• Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
• 5 years proven experience in PR or Communications roles, preferably within an agency environment.
• Strong understanding of media relations, including established relationships with journalists and influencers.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and creativity.
• Super organised and process driven.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to analyse data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable strategies.
• Proficiency in media monitoring and analytics tools.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities and a collaborative mindset.
