Pr. Eng. Electrical Engineer (solar Pv)

Our client in the Renewable Energy industry is currently looking for a Pr. Eng. Electrical Engineer, in Cape Town, Western Cape.Responsibilities:

Plan, organise and manage a design and engineering team.
Responsible for detailed design, procurement, project management, construction monitoring and close out of renewable projects.
Design, detail and approve distribution boards and panels for integration of solar PV systems with existing networks.
Responsible for the bid and tender preparation and submissions.

Requirements:

BEng or B.Sc. (Electrical/Electronic) Engineer.
ECSA registered PR Eng. is a must, as the incumbent will be the one signing off the drawings.
Minimum of 5 years' Design experience in renewable energy projects.
Management experience.
Understanding of Eskom grid codes, SANS and NRS specifications on Solar PV systems.
Familiar with grid impact studies and grid integration studies required for approval of renewable energy projects - beneficial.
