Job Summary Job & Company description:My client is a Johannesburg-based HVAC consulting firm established in the early 2000s. They specialize in retail, corporate, leisure, luxury accommodation, education, healthcare, and industrial projects. Notable works include shopping centres, malls, and universities. They focus on flexible, efficient, and aesthetically pleasing design solutions across various sectors.As a Principal Associate, you will lead projects from inception to close out with minimal input from Directors. Your role includes building strong client relationships through effective communication and understanding their needs, as well as marketing and networking to secure repeat business. You should have an established client base and be able to manage and lead staff on large projects, ensuring effective resource management and deliverables. Responsibilities also include managing debt and professional fees, conducting kick-off meetings, preparing technical reports and budgets, developing tender designs, coordinating construction phases, overseeing site supervision, and ensuring quality control. Additionally, you will handle project close-out, including handover, commissioning, and cost control, while maintaining a professional and helpful attitude to ensure client satisfaction.Job experience and Skills Required:

• Minimum requirement: BEng/ BSc/BTech in Mechanical Engineering degree.
• Minimum 7 years experience in consulting engineering environment with at least 1 years performing the duties of an associate.
• Pr.Eng or Pr.Tech Professional Qualification from Engineering Council of South Africa
