SUMMARY:
Mechanical Engineer xe2x80x93 Pr. Eng xe2x80x93 Cape Town xe2x80x93 2-year contractWonderful opportunity for a young, dynamic, driven Candidateour client in the medical gas industry is on a recruitment drive for a Mechanical Engineer (Pr Eng registered) to join their Cape Town team on a 2-year contract.The ideal candidate must be well-spoken, knowledgeable and have the ability to work with a multi-functional team on site.Duties and Responsibilities: -

• Project Management: Overseeing the entire lifecycle of engineering projects, from initial concept through to final implementation. This includes coordinating with cross functional teams to ensure integration of mechanical components and other systems
• Compliance and Safety: Ensuring that all designs and systems comply with relevant regulations and safety standards. Conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies
• Consulting and Responsibility: Providing consulting engineering services and taking responsibility for the performance of engineering work. This includes functions laid down in statutes like the National Building Regulations
• Technical Support: Offering technical support during the manufacturing and assembly processes. This involves troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise.
• Any other day to day duties that may require daily

POSITION INFO:
Qualifications:

• Educational Qualifications: You must have an

degree from a recognized South African university or an accredited foreign institution. Common degrees including B.Sc. (Eng), B.Eng. or National Diploma in Engineering * Work Experience: After obtaining your degree, you need a minimum of three years of relevant work experience. This experience should be under the supervision of a registered professional engineer.

• Professional Registration Examination xe2x80x93 must have passed the PR Eng registration examination & Compliance with ECSA
